How to make Cilantro Lime Chicken Tacos on the Traeger

Marinate chicken
Mix together the marinade and let the chicken take a bath in that in the fridge for at least 4 hours. Overnight is ideal! It is hard to over-marinate this dish.
Preheat your grill
Fire up the grill and get it between 400-450°F.
Grill
Put the chicken breasts right on the grill and let cook for about 10 minutes per side, or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F.
Chop
Remove from the grill, let rest for about 10 minutes, and then chop it up into bite-sized pieces.
Eat
Load up in some warm tortillas along with your favorite toppings.

Ingredients
- 2 pounds boneless skinless chicken breasts
- 1/2 teaspoon sea salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 2 tablespoons taco seasoning
- 1/2 cup fresh lime juice
- Zest of 1 lime
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 teaspoon honey
- 1/4 cup chopped cilantro
- 12 tortillas
Serve with
- lettuce
- lime wedges
- hot sauce
- extra cilantro
- avocado
Instructions
- Place chicken, salt, pepper, taco seasoning, lime juice, lime zest, olive oil, honey and cilantro in a ziplock bag. Marinate for at least 4 hours.
- Preheat your grill to 400-450°F. Remove the chicken from the marinade, and place on the grill. Cook for about 10 minutes per side until the internal temperature reaches at least 165°F.
- If you don’t have a Traeger, you can use a gas grill, charcoal grill, or even a grill pan on the stove.
- Remove from the grill and let rest for 5-10 minutes before slicing.
- Assemble the tacos with your favorite fixings.
- Enjoy.
